Car won't run, no fuel getting to plugs.
1976 450SEL 4.5 litre (U.S. engine, Euro body), gasoline fuel injected engine.
Car has been parked for some time. If I prime it, it starts, but will not continue to run. If I continue to manually feed it fuel, it keeps running. I have been told I need to bleed the fuel line. I have no idea how to do this, or if it is correct. Please help. I did add gas to the tank just in case, so it does have fuel. |

That system like all CIS fuel system operates on a HIGH fuel pressure & also a fuel pressure differential in the fuel distributor. Checking the fuel pressure(s) would be the first diagnostic step,
