W114/W115 Floor

Can someone confirm that the floor is the same for a coupe as a sedan.
There is a shop in norway that sells new flooring, but it does not specify if it is a coupe or sedan. (www.veng.no)

Floor pans the same? yes.

Those replacement floor pans are pressed in denmark I believe. Not too hard to change but I found it takes time to do it well. Remember all the little things like no grinding in cab unless you like your windows etc damaged. I too cannot see any difference between the coupe and four door as I was always led to believe only the upper body is different. Plus I have installed those panels in a coupe as well. You will love all the little things like transfering over the seat mounts if I remember as well.

Yes, you are correct, the pans are pressed i Denmark by www.veng.dk (they have a Norwegian site). My floor is not to bad, but in some areas I definitely have to weld. I'm a novice, but have some welding skills, and tough it would be easier to replace the whole floor. Veng sells the floor whole or in 4 parts, might go for the 2 front parts only.

Your english is excellent. It would be a little easier if only the front were done of course . Inspect the rear floors carefully. It is only a very small amount of effort more to change the full floor panel in my opinion. We are all novices when we change things like this the first time. This job requires in my opinion a mig welder and butt welded seams are the best. Much depends on the general condition of the car. If really good I do them this way. If just an average car I do them another way with small overlap seams.
