Hello,

My car has only the driver side mirror, but I own a second one. How easy would it be to install the second one on the passenger side?

is it a right side mirror? if not i doubt you can do it for any reasonable amount of work.

i am pretty sure i have a manual rs mirror if you are interested.

oh, i see you have the 108. i have them for 115 and prob 123 only. sorry.

the day I moved to San Francisco, I had my last load of boxes in the car a '72 Buick Skylark, stacked up on the seats, and the car was going down the road like a boat.

a CHP motorcycle officer pulled me over near the Airport on Hwy 101 by San Carlos and stated that the boxes in my car obscured the view from the inside rear view mirror, and therefore I was getting a ticket for not having an outside mirror on the right side of the car!

I tossed the boxes on the floorboards, so I could see out the back window through the mirror, but the cop said sorry, here's your ticket HAVE A NICE DAY!

It was a "fix it" ticket and I had to either pay a fine of $25 *OR* install the mirror.

So I checked the Vehicle Code for California code which said in those circumstances, a mirror had to be installed.

BUT the vehicle code did not say how big the mirror had to be.




So I installed



A tiny DENTIST'S mirror.


Got the ticket dismissed at the CHP office.

Funny looks from the SFPD officers sometimes


It finally flew off the car at about 100 mph one day
