Clean Connections

I am going to repleace all the fuses in my 1973 280c as they all look VERY old and brittle.
I have been told to make sure I disconnect the battery and clean all the connections on the fuse pannel.

What do you guys recomend to use to clean the posts?

(so far I have heard use scotch brite, I am assuming they ment scouring pads)

Thanks

Don't they make pencil-like sanding sticks for detail work/paint touchups? That would be optimal.

If you can't find the sticks, you may try fiberglass mesh wrapped around the eraser end of a pencil. Or even just a pencil eraser would probably work. Cleans more than most people think...

You are correct!

In the military, when are radios suck, we use a pencil eraser to clean the connections! (works 99% of the time)

I never even thaught of that! will give tat one a try
