That's what my friend got me from Germany - halogens in the P45t base. He owed me a favor so they were free.
But does anyone know if the amber Euro bayonet foglamp bulbs are availible anywhere?

Happy Motoring, Mark

With careful aiming, the wrong-side lights were inconspicuous and effective. Now, my new Canadian lenses will be even better.

Careful aiming may still give you , the driver, effective lighting, ...but the wrong side optical cut-off angle will certainly effect oncoming drivers/traffic.
There are two reasons for cut-off angle..one is to light the shoulder of the road and the other is to not light the side of the road of oncoming traffic. No aiming adjustments will rectify that design of the lens.

They are the 35w/B20s base. My friend brought me clear ones from Germany. Awhile back, someone on this forum said the amber tinted ones were no longer availible.

For what it's worth, One of the amber foglamp bulbs that came with my Fintail Euros is marked OSRAM G7309 12V35W xWX MADE IN GERMANY, the other is marked 12227/86 PHILIPS 12V35W MADE IN GERMANY E6.

The clear replacments are in the headlights, but the boxes are marked TRIFA Germany 35W 12V BA 20s Nr 421.

Yeah, I have the Philips one here ..and I think that is still available.
I use the clears on all of mine.

Call that 800# up and ask them...they are hip and whatever they say will be the final word.
