Hello all,

I've got a '74 450SL, and the air injection is not in good shape. The hoses from the diverter valve to the head and from the diverter valve to the "muffler" are both broken in two. Currently the vacuum lines associated with the diverter valve are disconnected and plugged, and the belt that drives the air pump is missing. Since it is a '74 and smog exempt, is there anything keeping me from removing the air injection system altogether? Thanks ahead.
