Hi Folks,

I have a W112 300se Coupe and found yesterday what looks like the flasher can for the indicators, I noticed it because there was a wire not connected to one of the two terminals. When I reconnected it and used the indicators it made a really strange sound like the zapping of a insect light! The strange thing is, when fully disconnected, the indicators function perfectly. This can was under the dash screwed to the firewall, I'm really at a loss as to what the hell it is and if it's crucial.

I was hoping this would be the mysterious reason that when my Behr aircon unit is switched on it blows the 5th fuse. But alas, that was not the case. Will post my queries on the Behr aircon soon.
