vintage emblems ?
hi,new to mercedes, wife bought mine for this years birthday.i am enamored to say the least ! literally fell in love at first sight even with the blemishes,,i think the wife is getting jealous. { uhh,} im looking though to give elizabeth { cars name, know its silly, named it after my daughter} a hint of personalized taste by adding accents such as emblems from much older year models. ive seen a daimler emblem on ebay for the front that was great. anyone know where to get these vintage style emblems in good shape or repro. ? any help is great.

Naming your car is not frowned upon here, Jason.

My 1970 250CE is named Wilma, my 1997 C280 was Hans, my '01 C320 was Felix, and my VW Rabbit is named Ed. Naming your car just means that you fit in perfectly here. Try calling the Mercedes-Benz classic center in Irvine california for emblems, they found me a 250CE emblem (freaking impossible to find on your own.)
