hello everybody .
i discovered this forum recently and i am really amazed with the info i can retrieve here. though i need help with my car , which is a 115 230.4 of 1975.i have done a complete restauro and the car looks fine now I AM LOOKING for a CAMSHAFT to install (a sportive one) but i dont know where to ask for it.i actually live in greece.the engine is completely rebuild and goes just fine. i would like to install a weber carburator instead of the Stromberg 175 standard .Will I see a difference in torque and power? how big difference will it be approx?? Is there another special performance kit including 2 Weber carburators??? i would appreciate any kind of info and help. |

you want to talk with Elgin Cams.
http://www.elgincams.com/ There are two possible cams in your motor, the 05 and the 13. The 05 cam is US spec, so it probably is a dog. The 13 cam is non-US. being in Greece, I presume you have the 13 code. The code number is stamped on the BACK of the cam. Use a mirror to see it. Also, there are US and euro distributors, 0 231 170 138 is the euro form, 0 231 170 137 is US spec. -CTH |
