Seems like my 73 280SEL 4.5 is upset with me. It's started running really rough today an in cases tries to stall at idle. I think it's missing a couple of cylinders. As you rev it, after a couple of splutters, it picks up and starts behaving. Not sure what bought it on, it's been really well behaved until very recently.

I guess a tune up in order and then we'll take it from there.

Sounds like dirty points! That's what mine does. Either set, but in your case probably ignition. At least by the sound. Check your rotor and cap too.
