73 280 se, No voltage to injectors

Hey everyone, I am new here......
I have just replaced the computer on the 4.5 so now I'm thinking it has to be the trigger points, I took them out, cleaned them up, but no luck, So do you think replacing the trigger points will send voltage to my injectors?

Thanks for your help...

Before you start just throwing parts at it... have you tested the pressure at the rails? How have you verified that none of the injectors are getting voltage? Are you sure the D-Jet system is being powered and that your replacement ECU is good? If you can't hear the fuel pump energize when you put the key to the run position (prior to cranking), your system probably isn't getting any power.

The reason I say this is that the 4.5 can run on just 4 cyls (trigger point 50% failure). I have never heard of trigger points completely failing. I haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it could start and run on 2 cyls (it can on 3), which is 75% trigger point failure. Check your power wire for your D-Jet circuit (the power wire connected to the battery, the smaller 2nd wire) and the ground for the injectors.

d-jet system

Well, I know the fuel rails have pressure, I have checked for that, and there is constantant pressure.

I changed the ECU with another one and no change, so I don't know anything about the d-jet system, I just got the car about a month ago, so everything is new to me, I'm used to working on american cars.

So what is the D-jet system? Where is it located?

I did try a different fuel pump, cleaned the trigger points in the distibutor, and it has a full tune-up....

All the wires to the injectors have been already punctured for testing it looks like, and I don't see any power going to any of them..??
