Free service manuals

Yesterday a mechanic friend of mine gave me a boxful of old Mercedes shop manuals. I dug through them hoping to find one for my 83 300D. No luck. They are mostly for gasoline MBs from 1959 through the mid '70's. I will gladly give any or all of them to interested parties (only cost is postage). If interested, get in touch and I'll send a list of the models covered.

List of MB service manuals

· Passenger cars starting 1968 / Series 108, 109, 111, 113
· Maintenance manual / passenger cars / USA version220D through 600 including year 1977
· Service manual / Maintenance , Tuning, and Unit Replacement / Passenger cars starting August 1959
· Passenger cars starting 1968 / Series 114 115 / Body and Chassis
· Workshop manual / type 300SL
· Workshop manual / passenger car models 180 to 220 SE
· Service manual / Engine M110
· Service manual / Engines M115
· Model Year 1976 / passenger cars / USA version
· Service manual / chassis Body / 350 SL & 450 SL / SLC /starting 1972, Series 107
· Workshop manual / type 600 The Grand Mercedes

I just sent you a private mail. Anything around the W111 280SE 3.5 coupe and its engine (M116) would be great. If you happen to have a manual transmission manual, or AC manual, let me know too.

Thanks,

Bert

Boy oh boy, response has been good. I'm not as well versed in what all these numbers mean, but when I have a little time (not today) I will sort through the books and the requests and contact everyone that I think these manuals will help. Wish there had been one for my car in there. Anyway, in the next day or so I'll do my homework and contact each of you.

I'd be interested in a W108 manual (or at least the front half of one)
