Stay with the 5.5 or 6 inch width rims for the 195/70, they look a bit odd on the 6.5 inch width rims.

205/70 look best on the 6.5 inch width rims, a bit oversized for the smaller wheels.

185/70 tires look ridiculousy small on a W114. You can still find 185 tall tires w/o an aspect ratio in 14 inch sizes. Ask for a tire that fits a VW transporter (van), they also have a great load rating factor. Which is another factor you need to be considering, as the W114 is not a lightweight car.

All of this presumes staying with 14 inch wheels.

I'm running 205/70R14 H93 on BBS 6.5 inch wide wheels on my black 71 250C.

Jim

How about a pic of that 250C with those BBS wheels, please?

Crying

Space Aliens have invaded.

I just saw a W114 with 28 inch chrome spinner rims, and a Chrome interior.

The hood was cut with a huge blower/intake sticking out.
