Looking for a Manual Transmission for 72 250 sedan
I'm looking to take that crazy leap...auto to manual conversion for my 72 w114 250 sedan. If anyone is getting rid of a w114 gas or diesel with a 4 or 5sp manual gearbox (or parting one out), please contact me. I need the whole kit (gearbox, pedal assembly, flywheel, etc.). Would gladly trade for my auto, but it probably needs a rebuild. I could probably use other parts from your car as well...
Much obliged!

Also be warned, MB auto trannies often misdiagnosed as needing "rebuild" when it's just the tranny fluid pump that goes south, an easy reasonable fix. Ask whoever told you the tranny was dead about the pump (accessible with tranny in car) and if he scoffs then take it somewhere else for another opinion.
