1967 250S power steering.
I have read a few posts on here that mentioned in passing that they bled the power steering pump? Is this right? I've never heard of this. All the systems I've worked on didn't require this. They all had a hose that had pressure toward the pump and a non-pressurized return hose. Bleeding was not required...?

to bleed you just start the motor and run the wheel all the way left then right a few times.

On the early power steering gears, there is a seperate bleed nipple on top of the gear. Get a hose and attach it to the nipple and put the other end in the reservoir. Open the bleed screw and bleed it. Get a helper.
