Selling My 76 Euro 6.9
It's time to make some space and focus on some of the other projects. I will buy another Euro 6.9 in the future, but for now, it has to go.

Friendly suggestion: if the car is in Dallas (and that's what I get when I read the item description), then you might want to change the "item location" in the listing to reflect that (still shows as Smyrna, GA).
It might avoid confusion with a prospective bidder. |

I tried to do that twice, it didn't take for some deranged reason.

Well the plot thickens. Yesterday I began to think about a poster's comments on the suspension and missed the idea of having another 6.9 so I bought a 1980 us spec model. It needs work (obviously). Silver with black leather interior and heated seats, but it was cheap.
The seats are in horrible shape up front but the back seats are quite decent. It has a leaky radiator and the suspension in the rear is jacked up. The seller (a dealer) tells me that the suspension was sunk in the rear so they dialed it up which didn't help. He then replaced the self leveling valve up front and the rear shocks got jacked up. The engine is strong though, it feels like it revs free and can smoke the tires at 15mph. I may fix it up and throw some paint on it and then sell it. Who knows. I'm getting tired of selling cars. I need to get tired of buying them too. Now here's the kicker. This morning I got an Email from the lady who bought the Euro 6.9. She contacted me and informed me that due to a family emergency, she is not able to buy the car. She has a genuine reason and my thoughts are with her and her family. So I made an effort to get down to one 6.9 and ended up with three. Oh well, at least I lost a few lbs this month.

Hmmm, when you say you lost a "few lbs" this month did you really mean a few "pounds"?

Yep, from loading and unloading full size cars onto trailers and moving them around the city.

I got the 6.3 about 4 months ago but it's been sitting still since i got it. The 6.3 needs a lot of efforts and I need to get some of the lesser projects sorted so that I can get them out of the workshop.
Today was a good day, watch out of this weeks installment of weekend wrenching.
