Solex 4A1 vacuum governor question

Folks: While re-adjusting the idle(which was too high) I tested the vacuum governor with a pump and gauge and find it has a slow leak.
I have had no luck sourcing this on-line.
Can anyone point me to a source.
The car is a 74 280C with the newer TN Solex 4A1 carb.

Thanks.

The vacuum governor...

raises the idle when the accelerator is quickly released.

I plugged the line and have been running without it for 3 years.

Have you tried a MB dealer? This is shown as a replacement part in Group 7-1. You might have to ask them for a european search. There is also a web site, rudddies-berlin, that carries parts for the 4A1. This was a widely used carb, so this piece should not be hard to find.
