No grease points on 114?
Hi all,
I was replacing my tire today and figured I would grease the front axles while I was at it. I could not find any grease points. I went to my haynes manual and it shows for the 230 & 250 the wheel bearings. On a 280, kingpin, axle pivots .... On the CD Job 250 talks about models 108, 109, 111, and 113 Am I missing something? Thanks

Yes, you are missing something. This chassis does not require greasing, it has ball joints.
The doors still require greasing.

Completely different suspension and axles.
108/111/113 have swing axle with enclosed tubes and king pin front axles with 14 grease nipples. You have ball joint suspension and open axle tube differential.. Completely different. |

My long departed W109 6.3 had all the nipples shown in the owner's manual. The page actually had to fold out to show them all..... There were several just for the parking brake linkage, IIRC. Jim
