3.27 Axle
I made the 3.27 Axle swap on my 3.5 111 stick shift coupe. Made driving much more pleasurable since 1st gear was pretty much useless before unless taking off on a steep hill. I added 16x8" R129 wheels and the combo results in 2500@60MPH. Gears are a little far apart but overall much better.

I keep finding them with standard ol' 175/70 13's, and those are a joke compared to what should be on there. I do put the 185/80-13's on the cars I rescue, and that helps, but they are still wound up in my opinion.
My coupe came with 14's, so it's got the tallest set of 14's I could find at the time, and still have a big whitewall, plus the 4.5 rearend of course.

Were you able to find a speedo gear that works or do you just do the mental conversion method? ;-)

No, I've been too cheap to spend the money to either have the speedo recalibrated or have one of those cool little reduction boxes built and put it in line (which is what I've done on other projects).
