W114 Brake Warning Light

Hi All,

The brake warning light won't turn off on my 1975 280C. I have checked the archives and I have tried disconnecting both reservoir sensors and the light still remains on.

When it first stayed on, if I jiggled the parking brake, it would flash, but it won't do that anymore.

Any clues where I should concentrate? The car brakes fine and I don't hear any brake drag. Is there a low brake pad warning light on these vehicles?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Hose the push button idiot light switch at parking break release with WD-40 and you oughta be fine. It's located up ther under the dash. Maybe kick parking pedal upward when pulling pinball machine release knob too.
