steering problem on 1960 180db
I just purchsed a 1960 180db and it has a steering problem. When I turn the steering wheel in either direction when I get to a certain point the wheel stops and I have to apply pressure to continue in that direction. It sounds like a loud "clunk". I checked under the hood at the u-joints there and they seem fine. I then took off the steering wheel and removed the bearing. Once the bearing was removed I put the steering wheel back on and it turned good from right to left with no problem, but putting the bearing back in the problem came back. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what is the remedy? Thanks

Bush gone in the column ? .Steering wheel set too far down and rubbing on the horn contacts?.

Could also be king pin issues.
