Quick Question about instrument on 67 W110 200D

I don't know what the three lights in my Instrument cluster are. On the bottom right there is

GL.

ST.

FL.

What do those mean??
Thanks
Cheers

It seems to me there is a white lite that functions as a reminder if your em brake is on and also signals something else which escapes me....choke on?

On my '60 gas Fintail, red light is for generator charge indicator. White one is manual-choke and handbrake. (I suppose just handbrake on diesels) Blue one is high-beam

On my '64 the lights were for generator, low fuel and brake warning. The models with manual chokes did have a light for that too but my 220S had auto choke. I would guess that your diesel has the same lights as my '64; generator (red), high beam lights (blue) and parking brake warning (white). They always used cryptic lettering which means nothing (in English) next to the lights...I assumed these are German abbreviations.

In my multi-language Fintail owner's manual it states -

LK-Ladestrom-Kontrolleuchte - Generator indicator light.
(I think later they changed those initials to GL)

ST-Starterzug, Handbremse - Choke, Handbrake.

FL-Fernlicht-Kontrolleuchte - High beam control light.

On my '60 Fintail the 'Low Fuel' warning is a tiny light at the bottom of the fuel guage itself.

Happy Motoring, Mark
