help! I screwed up the choke on my zenith front carb

In trying to slow down the high speed idle on my front carb, I managed to badly mangle what I believe is called the compensating spring located inside the choke housing. (not the bimettalic spring) . After some trys to "fix" the spring I know my only hope is to find a replacement. the car is a 71 250c and the carbs are the ever lovin zenith 35/40's.

I may have an extra spring from a parts carb that I have laying around. Check out this diagram and confirm what number the spring is. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s131/Blue72W114/CarbINAT32.jpg

If I understand your post, you are looking for the tiny coil spring (not pictured in diagram)that registers in the brass bushing aprox~ #33.
