Can you name this part??

anyone have an idea of what this might be, came out of a w107 sits behind the dash pod, numbers dont match anything I can find

Could be the O2 sensor replacement indicator. It's tied into the odometer to set off an idiot light at 30,000 miles to remind you to replace O2 sensor. After 30k your suppose to disconnect it. Seems pretty silly to me.

But maybe not.

looks like a "wegstrecken impulsgeber", but sorry i have no idea how to translate it for you.
it seems like it gives 4988 signals per kilometer . maybe to the speedo...

Yes it's the O2 sensor exchange indicator. for the 380 SL, SLC SEL

Dual bypass gaffenator divertor valve. Receives it's signal from the supplicator assembly. Power is supplied by the lubricant hydroxificator.

Gives a set number of impulses per km, so I guess it could be an aftermarket trip odometer for older cars.

you could use it to indicate routine maintenance like oil changes in my Wife's 4runner.

Or you could just remember to change the oil.
