wow. is the trim around the wheel wells legit? I always thought people put that on to hide rust bubbles.

Having owned a 12K 280SL, I don't think that adding a modest amount of kilometers is going do much to diminish that car's value. IMO, 15K is just as unique as 4K.
It's a beautiful and unique car - thanks for pointing it out to us!

It's a European version or at least it's not a US version car so the A/C could have been installed anywhere. Most Euro 111's did not have A/C
I have even seen Euro 111 3.5 Cabs without A/C. The chrome wheel archs were used on 112's and I have seen them on many 111's. The ones on mine are chrome plated brass. That price does not seem realistic for a coupe.
