junkyard alert: ponton in eastern PA

for anyone in the NE who's interested, there's a white ponton 180 (not sure if it was gas or diesel, I was in a rush and didn't pop the hood) in the pic-a-part in Morrisville, PA. it looked to be in pretty decent shape, probably rusty but still seemed to have most of its parts. sorry I didn't get any photos. the yard is at :

999 Bristol Pike
Morrisville, PA 19067

hope this info helps someone. if I get over there again soon I'll make sure to bring a camera with me.

- dave

I didn't know there was a pick-n-pull in that neighborhood, having just been to trenton a few weeks ago with some time to kill.

Would that ponton be their only mercedes?
What's the chance of finding a late 80s suburban?
Lastly, what's their hours on a Saturday?

Thx -CTH

it was kind of a weird pic-and-pull in that none of the cars were raised off the ground. I happened across it on citysearch a while back and figured I'd drop by when I was in the area. as it turns out there's another u-pull-it basically right across the railroad tracks (I think it's called Crescent), but I didn't realize that at the time, so I didn't get a chance to check that one out.

there were some other mercedes... a couple of 126s and at least one 114. again, they were all lying flat on the ground, though, so not ideal for pulling stuff. I'm not sure if there were any suburbans but there certainly might have been... I didn't really look at the american stuff. it was just sort of a quick drop in a scout out kind of trip; didn't really get to spend much time there.

I recently found this site -- junkyarding.freeforums.org -- that has an excellent list of NE u-pull-it junkyards. I haven't had time to check any of them out yet, but hopefully will soon.

Is that the place that is between Rt 1 and the railroad tracks? Never knew that was a pick & pull.
