Replacing just the brake booster check valve, 1970 280SL

Booster check valve is leaking. I found just the check valve P/N 000 431 35 07 but not the entire booster line. Furthermore it would be cheaper to replace just the valve. How to replace just the check valve on the brake booster line? Looks like you need heat or something to R&R the part.
Thanks

I tried to either replace the check valve, or one of the lines. I forget which. I remember it didn't work with heat. The line either deformed from the heat or broke, or both. I think you need to find the whole assembly.

The EPC shows all the pieces except a "trap" as still available. I am pretty sure a used assembly from a 280 sedan would work.

The hose is ordered by the meter and cut to fit. You can get replacement
hose to match at any decent auto store.
The Seperator [ drop trap] -111-435-02-27 is still available, but that did not come as Original Equipment on late .044 chassis. It was last used on the earlier 113.044, but many guys do/did add it to the later version .044s b/c it does keep the gas condensates out of the booster.
You can tell if yours came with one b/c the later version also went to a plastic hose at the production change/serial# when they eliminated the Seperator.
The Benz part# for hose is 000-435-21-82 if you are looking for Originality.
SLS also has the seperator vessel for 11 Euros...

Used MB bulk brake booster hose and check valve (p/N 000 431 35 07). Cut off metal fittings from old plastic line and installed them on new rubber hose.
