Thumbs up

Thank you very much! The pinout code is that you provided is exactly what we have been looking for. If you have to time to send the whole diagram I would really appreciate it. You can never go wrong with a more detailed diagram. What is the title of the book that you found this info in? I think that I would like to own it. Thanks again.

does anyone think this is the same for any w115? valdordave, im sure your wires are the same as mine but the locations on my cluster are not the same. couldnt i just ground each pin and see which bulb comes on?

i used this diagram and ive found issues like my blinkers dont come on, and when i press my parking brake my temp gauge pins.

i thought it should be too. do u think the blinkers are a different problem? maybe the relay? they arent working on the car or cluster. is the relay behind the switch?

The '73 is kind of a "cross over" year. I have seen them with the '72 style flasher which is located in the console and I have also seen them with a regular flasher unit mounted above the park brake bracket.

You can adapt any generic flasher unit to work with a bit of wiring if you have the unit above the park brake. You simply need to make a jumper set of short wires (two) with the plug style Benz connector on one end and the spade style to fit the replacement flasher unit.

So how do I know if the relay is for my blinkers, take dash apart and see if it's in line with hazard switch?
