just a line to let you know i made the deal on my new daily driver. Having recently sold my W114 230.6, i've replaced it with this -

I should pick the car up by the weekend. She's in great shape, one or two superficial rustspots which will be attended to before i collect. The car was a one owner company car, which became part of a retirement package. Fully documented history,always garaged, practically unmarked interior, 132k miles, tho it looks, feels and drives like 32k!
I had a good test drive on saturday morning, and first thing i noticed was that compared to my W114, the interior and boot, sorry, trunk, both seem smaller in the W123.
I'll report back and let you know how the car performs on a day to day basis.
