450SL wheels on a 300D? Pics anyone?

I can get a set of these wheels from a local j-yard for cheep. Has anyone ever installed them on a W123> If so, you got some pics I can see? Thanks. Paul

I've seen these on a W108. make sure you take the lug nuts with them too as they are a different size to the w123 lugs.

Yep, should work. They're Heavier though and will make a 123 ride rougher.

One of my neighbors at the old place had those rims on a '76 450SL. He gave me the original bundt cakes, which now reside on my 240D. So, generally speaking, 107's and 123's can use the same rims.

The wheels on the red R107 are actually W126 wheels.

I can get the set for about 100.00. Are they valuable for any other reason? Rare? I don't know how they will look. I am kinda partial to my wheel covers but I only have two. I was just thinking about it. Paul

get two more wheel covers. . .I traded my bundts in for steel wheels and wheel covers. . .they rock! (although heavier then bundts). . .the vintage look is where its at!
