After replacing the hose it will only leave 1 drop of oil on the ground, sometimes it won't drip at all.

The new hose cost me $48 at the dealer.
with or without MBCA discount?

Like I said it still leaks a tad, if want to call 1 or 2 drops a leak. I hope the tranny lasts forever, I change the fluid once a year

You didn't mention putting the hose into boiling water - as per MBZ maintanence - before installation. I'm currious to know if you did or not. If not, this may be why it didn't slide into the pan completely.

You could probably remove it, heat it, and reinstall it completely. It should be just a walk in the park, now that you have the experience.

I didn't heat it, that why it was so hard to get on. What I might do is drive the car and get the motor nice and hot and then try to slide the hose down the rest of the way.

By no means am I taking it back out. I spent hours getting it in.

Does anyone know what the hose drains? Blow by?

It is an OIL RETURN line - not blowby.

Ok well the return hose started to leak again where it meets the top of the oil pan. Im going to put a hose clamp on it and then if it still leaks, i'll replace it with 3/4 rubber hose and clamps.

Im just going to snug a hose clamp down on it, hopefully it will stop. I think a rubber hose and clamps would be a better idea anyway.

I haven't had anytime, so I still leaks a tiny bit. It only leaks like 1 or 2 drops, it doesn't bother me.

I just got the hose for my 110, and plan to use a heat gun on the bottom connection. I think if I am careful not to use too much heat for too long, I'll be OK. The hose looks just like black sprinkler pipe from Home Depot, just pre-formed. I know that stuff doesn't take much heat to melt and ruin it.
