CD's no longer available

Contacted Mercedes this morning and the CD ( P-2700-EV3-000) for the W108 chassis is no longer available, which leads us to a problem.

Where are we to find the technical information, schematics and diagrams for the earlier Mercedes?

No longer available as in currently out of stock or discontinued? I heard on the grapevine that they need to make updates for vista which could be the case.

The woman said that they were discontinued.

Seems a little strange from a company that supports their vehicles so well.

Mine just showed up yesterday...

I'm guessing they're doing some updates, since all the automatic-make-sure-it-works-on-your-machine stuff is old and crufty, but all the content is HTML, Flash/Shockwave, and PDF files. Works fine on my Mac if I bypass the startup stuff and open welcome.htm.

EDIT: What I ordered was QL-6516-5614-02

Contact the Classic Center in Irvine CA and ask to speak to Tom Hansen. If they can be had, he'll find them for you.

I ordered a disc for the 114 a week or so and it just showed up.

I can't imagine they'd discontinue them entirely; they have to be really inexpensive to make and/or stock.

The rickety cd interface functioned poorly on my mac. I've been using MB's online EPC, which functions pretty well (again, not on my mac). First year's free, even though you have to put down a cc number...

Interesting...the flash interface works pretty well on my mac, once you figure out that you need to open welcome.htm to bypass all the broken auto-detect crap.

Yeah, it's really close to working on the mac, which is frustrating. I just gave up and repurposed my old Windoze notebook as the garage computer. I need windows for VAG-COM to talk to the A6 anyway.

So much for wrenching being therapeutic because there's no software involved.
