W108 in S Atlanta Pull A Part
 

Spotted this on my visit to Atlanta Pull A Part. It's a while 6 cylinder 280SEL with the injection pump and the engine in place.

Good chrome
Good Bumpers
Perfect blue MB Tex Interior
All switches and dash parts in Place minus the becker radio

I took the headlights and tail lights and the fuel pump from it as it looks a lot like the 6.3 pump.

Get that interior before it's destroyed.

Get the head and the injection pump OR
whole assembly with trans, these are getting rare,
I was quoted $1500 for a motor core alone. (by the commercial yard)

Check "Metric Motors" for a clue on core prices.

Greg could use the motor if it were in working condition. -CTH

I'm already back from GA, what a drive! Big items would be great to grab, but I was driving my E420 which was full already.

Anything else of note hiding in the south yard? I've been meaning to make a trip!

There is a pretty nice and complete 280c there also and a couple of Euro w126's.
