240D windscreen washers ?

Hello ,
I've searched but can't find anything although it is probably out there some where .
I need to replace the windscreen washers on my 1981 240D but I can't get to the base of them ...I can't even see the base clearly ! How do you do it ,bar drilling the old ones out ...which is what I'll probably do if no one can tell me the right way .

I've also posted this down in Bodywork ,but to no avail so far .

Thanks all .

I believe they just push through the sheet metal and have a kindof clip that slides on to secure them. Its accessible if you look carefully. I would not drill them because it will probably chip your paint and give a place for rust to start.
