Help with Head Bolt W114 please

Howdy to all,
I've got some issues with a 250 W114 that i just picked up at an auction. Long and short of it is I'm trying to remove the head to see if the problem i have is terminal or if the engine is salvageable.
So i have everything removed and i'm down to 2 bolts rite at the very front of the head. i removed the relatively easy one, the other is conveniently located under the chain tensioner pully assembly. I'm stuck, i cant figure out how to remove the chain tensioner so i can get at this last bolt.
Anyone have any words of wisdom?

On the head itself i've removed what appears to be the bolt directly inline with the axle/ rod that the chain tensioner rides on but the axle wont slide out. Is there some kind of retaining clip inside this hole that keeps the axle for the tensioner in place??
( Cant see inside the hole because there's only a couple of inches between it and the radiator )
Thanks for any advice in advance

The screw/bolt under the tensioner can be removed with the tensioner in place. Or the tensioner can be removed by undoing the 2 nuts on the side of the head that hold it.

oops, maybe i'm calling it the wrong thing.
It's to dark for me take a picture rite now but if i'm standing in front of the car looking at the engine i see ( what appears to me ) a chain guide on the right, there is plenty of room here to remove the one bolt. The one i'm not wrapping my head around is the other one on my left which looks to me is under a chain tensioner... (it has a small sproket) or am i confused here.
Anyway its the one on the left that i cant figure out how to get at

It's a hex socket head bolt, 5 or 6mm hex, can't remember which. But it comes out with tensioner in place.

Okey- Dokey, thanks Chas, I'll give it a try tomorrow, just didn't look like there was enough room with the tensioner in place.
Thanks again!

Tensioner has to come out so the chain can be loosed before you remove the head. the tensioners idler wheel and arm can stay in place.
Remove the thermo housing to get the tensioners spring loaded device off the head.
