PNP alert (115 240D)

A friend of mine was in the Pick-N-Pull in Oklahoma City a few days ago and he told me there was a 115 or 114 240 D in there that seemed to be all there but for the interior. It was burned out but the drivetrain looked OK.

This guy is not a Mercedes person so he missed a lot of details. I do not know the year; all I know is that the interior was gutted by fire and the drivetrain is still there.

I live about 150 miles from OKC so I cannot really go there and see for myself, but I wanted to pass on what information I had.

If anyone is looking for what is probably a good ol' 240 (this might even be a 220 D) drivetrain then there is one "all the way to the back" at the PNP just off of 15th street.

The one in Carson City has a W108 280SE 4.5 that's currently missing the radiator, oil, cooler, and fan (thanks to me), and most of the rest of it is still there. A member of this forum in Scotland approached me about pulling the rear end for him, but when I told him how much the shipping would be, he wasn't so interested.
