Ok when i get done with the mechinical/electrical problems/work and some body work.

I have to replace the windsheild because the previous owner didnt adjust hood so it shut well. So when I picked it up the rope I used to hold the hood down while driving it to my shop broke while i was driving and smacked the windshield.

Very Easy

It is very easy to remove the glass without braking it. But be sure you remove the 2 screws that connect the rear defroster to the body or you will rip off the tabs from the glass... The hard part is installing the trim and then getting the rubber gasket on the glass... Normally a used Mercedes glass in good condition will run less than 100 dollars... Jim

Many window guys I've talked to won't touch these cars. If your window is fine and you just need seals, you may be able to get away with sealing the seals on the outside of the windshields. They can use epoxy or some sealant liquids to seal the rubber to prevent water intrusion. Might be a good alternative. Even if you do find a new windshield and rubber stripping, chances of it cracking due to added tension when installing are higher with these cars.
