Thanks Melted, I'm just curious if anyone could give me a estimate on the first 3 things I mentioned.

There is no way someone can give you an accurate cost for putting a Mechanically Injected 130 engine into proper tune/ running condition on a Forum w/o more info. Specially one you just bought .
A proper tune starts with fuel flow/pressure specs and checks, compression test, Cold Start valve and pump Rack test, etc, ...and if they find ANY of these out of wack, that determines the cost.
The fuel pump alone on that car cost upwards of $6oo....and the Injection pump can cost a grand.

These are not "Lets go get some points and plugs and tune the Old Girl up " cars...they require expertise and the fuel and ignition are inter-related for proper tuning. Could cost $100, could cost a thousand..
And anyone says different does not know this chassis.....and anyone who does know them will tell you the same thing as I.
Not trying to discourage you , but you are asking questions on cost that can only be estimated AFTER some Diagnostic Testing is done...and that is where I would start...get someone to do some simple diagnostic test.. [ fuel pressure/flow rate and engine compression, for starters]..and only THEN you will get an accurate estimate...if JA is coming by, he knows what that will need and the approx cost..and the tricks/ways around the high cost items.......He is very Experienced on MFI.
If you go to someone else , make sure he knows these systems b/c they are UNLIKE any other normal Vintage chassis..they require Experienced MFI Techs
that know exactly how they work...and they can do it for a reasonable cost b/c they will know EXACTLY what is required ...anyone else will be guessing........ I see guys throw every part but the kitchen sink trying to fix these, only to find out several wasted $$$$$ later that the guy had a simple Cold Start Valve leaking or the linkage was mal-adjusted. These are not to be fooled with by anyone w/o that specific experience. That would be a costly mistake.
Believe me.. this is simply some solid advice. I was working on these when they were new. Ask the guy right up front ." Are you Familiar with Bosch MFI ?? "
If he is , he will know what you are talking about... but if he says " HUH??, what's MFI ??" , get back in your car and leave.
Contrary to what one would expect, these guys are not at the local Benz Dealership, but rather in the small Indie Shops.
The Big Plus to all this is when you do get all things correct , these are one of the Finest running little engines one could ever wish to own...and there are still some experienced guys who can tweak them to perfection with a trained Ear by simply listening to the exhaust notation......Thank you.

Art is right, take it to a MB wrench and let him/her give you the estimate.

Are you saying your not capable of changing your oil, filters, spark plugs, cap, and ignition wires? Your in for a lot of misery and expense if you don't start learning how to do simple basic maintenance.

A professional will probably charge you 2-3 hours labor and about $300+ for parts (plugs,wires,cap,rotor,oil/trans filter, fluids) In my area, that would be close to $600 dollars.

If you shopped online for parts you could probably do it all yourself for $250 or less, and a few hours time.

I know how to do that stuff, It's just I have a full time job watching my 2 young kids, and I want to have it taken care of now and I will do it when required later but need it done now.

Congrats on the new Benz, looks nice. First, get the manual. 2. don't let the car scare you- these are workable cars. 3. do get it rust proofed, especially Ohio(SALT!). 4 sounds like the belts need replacing or are too big, easy to fix. 5. if it starts easilly, then the motor is probably in good shape, check all the paperwork. 6.On both of mine-MOST important that the brakes work, doesn't matter if you can go if you can't stop- check the flex brake hoses at the wheels, these swell and if original-NEED replacing! This really should be #1.- 7. Multi weight oil has made warm up obsolete, get going soonest, a couple minutes is ok, more is wasted gas. I always found mine warm up in about 2-3 minutes enough to defrost, if not get the German thermostat(cheaper than the American one!?). Last, I thought that the later models had ball joints? My 66 250s has king pin but my '67 had balls, hehe. Oh, I also found that 89 octane is fine. and keep us informed. Enjoy and Good Luck
