I've wondered about that Holley, I assume it's the q-jet replacement they started making awhile ago? I never heard much positive about it, but I'm sure it's better than Solex.

Holley also makes a 390cfm vacuum secondary 4 barrel that is interesting, but not often seen cheap.

I had a 73 280c with a weber 38 dges from redline-weber!

Would have been better off to fix the solex, was never able to set it right. Started well but a dangerous flat spot when accelerating and you can not adjust the accelerator pump on the weber.

People from redline-weber were not helpful!

There are jets to adjust the pump on the dges I think. There has to be something.

Was yours the redline kit bluebenz?

Bought the kit from redline weber. Can not recommend them! And their installation manual has many errors!

Accelerator pump was not adjustable!

I think it is worth the extra money to buy from JAM if you want to swap carbs!

Pump jets.

For the price of the Holley I can definitely fuel inject it. A carb is a "for the time being" thing.

Ouch! 20-24 MPG is only a dream for most of us 110 owners. How'd they do that? Would like to go Quadrajet but notice the downsides from the comments. Seems like MSis staying at the the top of the list. Any MS users to comment??

I bought a used JAM Holley conversion and used it on my '73 280C for like four years without any problems. The carb is a 4360C, the "C" meaning that it has an electric choke. It does not use an adapter, but the rear mounting holes need to be hogged out a bit.

A 4360 would work but you would have to figure out a manual choke.

If you find a carb, I can send you a copy of the install instructions.
