All, do you know if it's possible to get re manufactured door stickers (these are the ones that have the vin number and other data on the inside of the b-pillar).

It seems as if one of my cars had them removed during a former repaint.

Many years ago this was a concern for GM owners that wanted to restore a car right down to the original stickers. A small industry grew up that reproduced not only the stickers but the VIN plates as well.

And that's when the trouble started. People started building clones of rare cars and then buying VIN plates to reflect that the car was an original. Eventually GM had to step in and desiginated one company to reproduce VIN plates and VIN stickers.

So... The only place I can think of that might have a lead on this would be the Mercedes Classic Center. You might also just contact a dealer, or go by your dealer and talk to someone in their paint and body shop. You know they have run into this before.

I needed something like this once years ago, and after I produced my title the dealer was very helpful in finding what I needed.

I would agree , I have had little luck finding any original plates/stickers , classic center may be best bet

I think somebody on the forum got a set of stickers for his 111 car from Germany, but I am not sure door sticker was included. If it is a Euro car, it may not even have had it in the first place.
