All of you collectors shoud make a trip to Oklahoma City and visit the 45th Infantry Meausem. They have a large collection of German army stuff.

The Germans then must have had a pin for EVERYTHING. There are sure a lot of them there. The 45th also has some of Hitlers personal stuff: Table settings and linins from his table; a cape and hat he wore... Things like that.

The 45th fought their way through some of the worst of the worst and after a battle some of the men collected souviners such as were allowed by US Army law. When the measume was created a lot of this stuff was donated to it. It is quite a collection.

Entry is free, but you might check the web site for hours and days of operations.

I think the 140,000 Blitz trucks Opel built for the Wermacht (Kfz.305) contradict that statement!

I got to ride on one of these a couple years ago. I think the handlebars bias the speed of the tracks towards one side or the other. There's also a set of brakes like a tractor that can slow either track independently.

I should have gotten a shot of the controls.

We have a local military gun & relic show here every year and theres a few vendors just loaded with Wehrmacht items, pins, crosses, swastika's, flags, clothing, helmets, knives, you name it! Original real stuff is expensive though. A small quarter sized REAL "SS" pin in decent condition is like $120 I want a K98 with the waffenampt marking intact. I also want a Japanese Arisaka rifle with intact Crysanthemum flower, which i saw a few of
My late father was in MI during WW2 and guarded the Manhattan project in Chicago, among other things. He had all kinds of Nazi medals, pins, a numbered copy of Mein Kampf issued by the US government to interrogators of Nazi prisoners, plus souvenirs but my dumb brother threw them all out after my father died.

What a putz!!

Skippy~ As for perception: Drive what you like and can afford. Those who don't like it can supply vacuum to one of your components. LOL

If you need parts, I have some!
