I will begin this post by saying that I have no emissions guidelines or penalties where I live.
On my engine is a non connected EGR valve and a void where I imagine an airpump may have been. Can I block off that EGR port on the manifold?
There's a tube that comes from the air cleaner leads to what looks like some sort of diaphragm to a tube that leads to the other exhaust manifold. Off that tube is a blocked off fitting (i assume where the air pump was)

The questions.

Can I remove the remainder of those pieces, EGR and that tube, and the cats and have no problems? or would bringing the Emissions system back to spec aid in economy (such as it is) or power?
