I have a 1971 w108. I don't use the windows cause the driver side needs a regulator. When I tried, though, to operate the others, they didn't work. I'm figuring that it is because of a bad relay. I know the relay is back by the firewall on the passenger side, but I'm not sure which one it is. There seems to be about three relays there plus two fuse holders. Does anyone know which one it is specifically?

Try rotating the fuses. The old ones corrode with age, as do the (brass/copper?) rails they slide into, and they don't make good contact.
