the passenger side window lift stopped working ,replaced the switch but no operation. testing the motor directly operates the lift and down function.
Incidently the driver side works . seems some relay has gone bad .

Did you check the fuse? Also, check wire connections in plug that connects to switch. I had problems with a bad wire connection in the plug.

yes i have replaced fuse with fresh one and replaced the switch too . still fault is elusive.

The switches are "side" sensitive so a right side switch will not work in a left side position.

As yet have not been successful in diagnosing the fault. Is there a relay for switching the polarity of the power to windows for up down operation?
