Hi,
It is not as simple as just buying parts-there are many variables to consider such as the offset and design of the wheel, the length and proper installation of the stud, the proper lug nuts and stud covers for the application, etc. The entire installation needs to be designed as a system and can be dangerous if not properly designed and implemented. I spent considerable time and effort to determine and locate the correct components and am hesitant to recommend products without knowing all the information. I just wanted to show that it is possible to successfully install wider wheels on a vintage MB. I did all my research on the web. There may be wheels that will bolt on but it will take some research. I found my handling and stability was greatly improved with the lower profile tires. Good luck with your project.

so the guy dropped by with the benz rims, the 16x8 et 38. Slapped them on the finny; and you can get a couple of threads in on the bolts. As for width forget about it, they rub on the shock, but i still have about 1 1/2 inches of room till the end of the fender. I think 20 mm spacers shoudl do it but i really don't know. I might not get them cause i really don't know what Im doin. Maybe just buy 16x6 rims so they arn't so wide.
