These three cars share the same front suspension crossmember-yup the 2dr sports model is the same as a frumpy 220d-no offense slomo.There aren't any in the junkyard today, anybody got a measurement of the spindle height? I'm doing a frankenstein project and want to know if they are anywhere close to mustang II.

7" tall spindle. Mustang II 6 5/8. I am studying it more but I think iImight have found an alternative to Mustang II based hot rod front suspensions. Damn I wish my 300cd had this kind of suspension. I might just have to make a 280cd w114 someday.
