German Star

There is a company on the internet called "German Star" motors which sell only mercedes parts.

Has anyone used them? Are they reliable/quality parts? Im after the W108 fuel pump.

Cheers,
Luke

I usually use europartsdirect.com, ***************, and occasionally ************************. I've looked thru German Parts and didn't care for the site, nor prices.

I have used them and am totally satisfied with their service, especially on euro parts.

I haven't shopped there in years (4 or 5? ) but they were great then and I still hear good things about them.

I buy everything I can from Phil. Not only to support the forum but also because he is VERY helpful and knowledgeable.

Phil is absolutely the man and I buy absolutely everything I can from him.

I'd have to put a vote in, however, for Adsitco. I used them back in the stone-age before I found this forum & have occasionally purchased thing there since when Phil couldn't get them (some new interior bits). Their service people aren't always the nicest, but they have good product.

But do a search first for Adsitco. I think you'll get a LOT more negatives than positives.

Interesting. It certainly has been many years since I've gotten much of anything there (certainly nothing w/ moving part). Times are certainly a changin' and the kind of service you get with Phil is unfortunately the exception to the rule these days...
