M110 carb issue
All,
I have a 1974 280C with the M110 DOHC engine and the lovely 4-barrel carb. The thing is, I can start the car and idle with no issues. It's when I really goose the gas pedal that the car stumbles. Is this a carb issues or more of an ignition issues, or a combo of both. If you know of the fix, let me know, thanks. I want to get the car running how it used to before selling it. I have a M110 280E euro spec motor, but I'd rather sell that on it's own. Thanks again,

Check your ignition system and check your accelerator pump for correct action. Another possibility is a vac leak. a vac test is very easy to do if you can find a vac guage to borrow.
Good luck.

ignition before injection! this may pertain to an issue with your plugs, or it may pertain to a vacuum leak at the base of your solex 4a1

Thanks I'll check those items out.
Hopefully I can get it back to how I know it can run before selling it.
