R107 500SL battery drain
I have a becker grand prix in my 500SL which was working well when I first got the car. It seemed to have stopped at around the same time that I got a battery drain.
Any thoughts as to why? I know that i need to start pulling fuses, but the thought of doing so on an SL in my tight garage is painful.

AL,
I had a problem with mine and it turned out the on/off switch was sticking on. Since you can turn the radio on with out the key, it allowed the battery to drain. My tip off was that the antenna stayed up. Jim

Jim, thanks! Do you know how to remove this radio?

Ummm, Al, if you'd "thin that herd" out a bit , as you are always claiming you are going to, that garage wouldn't be such a tight fit!

You can pop the faceplate off from the right hand side, then pop the retainers on the bottom of the radio frame to release the radio.
Having the removal tools help. Jim
