W108 vs W114/W115 seats

Are the front seats from the W108 and the W114/W115 interchangeable? I have a lead on a pair of good W115 seats -- just wondering if they would "bolt-on" to the W108.

Thanks in advance,

regards,

I do believe they are interchangeable, but why on earth would one want to swap seats which IMHO, are pretty supportive and comfortable for seats that are flat and make your butt hurt after a couple hours of sitting on them. Your best bet is to have your 108 seats rebuilt.

Headrests

I'm swapping because of the headrests.

The seats in my W108 are in very good shape. However, they don't come with headrests.

The seats that I might be getting come in the correct color and material, plus it has factory headrests. For the price of two headrests, I get two whole seat assemblies.

I haven't compared the seats side by side, but are the seat bottoms and backs on the W115's different from the W108's?

regards,

108 vs. 114/115 seats

What color are your present seats? I happen to have a near perfect pair of leather seats from a rusted 1971 300sel 3.5

How's Atlanta?

Current seats are Red/Maroon. MB-TEX. Low back, no headrests.

Leather would be nice, but I think shipping them from Atlanta to the Philippines wouldn't be economically viable.

Thanks!
